PM U Nyo Saw visits Liuzhou Industrial Museum and Wuling auto factory in Luizhou, China
PRIME Minister U
Nyo Saw, who is currently in Nanning, the People’s Republic of China,
accompanied by Union Minister Dr Charlie Than and U Chit Swe,
Myanmar Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China U Tin Maung Swe, Chinese
Ambassador to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Ms Ma Jia, and officials,
yesterday visited the Liuzhou Industrial Museum and the Wuling auto factory of
SAIC GM-Wuling Auto Co Ltd in Liuzhou.
The Prime Minister and party arrived in
Liuzhou from Nanning by high-speed train in the morning. They proceeded to the
Liuzhou Industrial Museum, where they were welcomed by the Second Secretary of
the Liuzhou CPC Committee, Mayor Mr Zhang Zhuang and officials.
The deputy curator of the museum
explained that significantly ancient industrial equipment used in 1902 is
displayed at the booth on Liuzhou industrial history, in addition to the
ecological booth, and the booth for workplaces, the gradual development of
industries till today, documentary photos on industrial development of Liuzhou
in successive eras, and other booths. The Prime Minister visited the museum and
asked about some topics.
While in Liuzhou, the Prime Minister and
party visited the Wuling Auto Factory of SAIC GM-Wuling Auto Co Ltd in the
afternoon. The managing director of the company explained the history of the
factory, yearly manufacturing of automobile types, sales of automobiles into
the market, manufacturing of electric vehicles starting from 2017, the AI
Operations Centre, and the quality, strength and safety of automobiles. The
Prime Minister discussed the interesting topics. — MNA/TTA
