Social Pensions Disbursed to Elderly Citizens in Minhla Township

Social pensions for elderly citizens aged 85 and above were disbursed today in Minhla Township, Thayet District, Magway Region, for the 2025–2026 fiscal year (April to September).

The disbursement, carried out by the Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with the Myanmar Economic Bank, began at 11:00 a.m. Each beneficiary received Ks 10,000 per month, totaling Ks 60,000 for the six-month period.

In total, Ks 3.906 million was distributed to 664 elderly citizens, according to the Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.— Win Myat (Upper Minhla)
