New School Building Opens in Pyawbwe Township

A ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a new school building donated by the Two Rhinoceros Foundation was held at Pekon Village in Pyawbwe Township, Mandalay Region, at 9:30 a.m. today.
Officials including Tatmadaw officers, members of the Township Administration Committee, representatives from the Basic Education Department, and the donor foundation attended the event and cut the ceremonial ribbon. They also sprinkled scented water on the stone inscription to mark the occasion.
During the ceremony, officials expressed appreciation for the contribution, and the Mandalay Region Education Department presented a certificate of recognition to the foundation.
The new building — the fifth school donated by the Two Rhinoceros Foundation — measures 120 feet by 30 feet and includes classrooms, four toilets, and a well. The total value of the donation is Ks 350 million.— Min Min Htwe (Pyawbwe)
