Fire-Affected Household Receives Relief Supplies in Myingyan Township

Relief supplies were provided to a fire-affected household from Ward-2 in Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, at a ceremony held at the Township General Administration Department office at 10 a.m. on April 7.

The fire occurred on the morning of April 6 and was reportedly caused by an overheated phone charger while a mobile phone was being charged, resulting in the destruction of a house.

At the event, Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee U Soe Htut, and Staff Officer of the District Disaster Management Department Daw Myat Shwe Sin Myint provided assistance totaling K120,000 for the purchase of rice and construction materials.
