MNA launches Myeik-Dawei- Myeik flight route




MYANMAR National Airlines launched a Myeik-Dawei-My­eik flight service to improve connectivity for travellers in remote areas.


Under the guidance of the President, the airline oper­ates L-410 aircraft to provide easier access for passengers. Flights from Yangon also run to Manaung and Kyaukpyu in Rakhine State, while services based at Myeik Airport con­nect to Dawei, Bokpyin and Kawthoung starting from the morning of 24 April.


The L-410 aircraft depart­ed Myeik at 8 am yesterday carrying 14 passengers and arrived in Dawei at 8:45 am. Officials, including the Tanin­thayi Region Chief Minister welcomed the new service at Dawei Airport.


The aircraft then departed Dawei at 10 am with 16 pas­sengers and arrived back in Myeik at 10:52 am, according to the Ministry of Transport. — MNA/KZL
