Completion of rural road construction in Kalaung village, Kyauktaga Township inspected

            A rural road construction project in Kalaung village, Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region, funded by the regional government for the 2026-2027 FY, was inspected on the morning of 30 July. Officials from the Nyaunglaybin District Rural Development Department visited the construction site to review the completed work.

            Officials from the Nyaunlaybin District and Kyauktaga Township Departments along with responsible engineers and members of village development committee observed the final completion of the road.

            The road measuring 1320 ft in length, eight ft in width and six inches in volume was constructed at a cost of K 63.25 million starting in the first week of May. Now, all has been completed by hundred percent. According to an official from the township department, the new road is expected to boost socioeconomic development for local residents. It will also facilitate the transport of agricultural products to markets, saving both time and money for the community.
