Myanmar-China Song Competition marks 76th anniversary of diplomatic ties
THE Myanmar-China Song Competition was held at Yunnan Minzu University in Kunming, China, on 13 July to commemorate the 76th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Myanmar and China, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The competition was jointly organized by the Consulate-General of Myanmar in Kunming and Yunnan Minzu University.
Chinese students proficient in Myanmar and Myanmar students studying in China performed Myanmar songs. The Consul-General of Myanmar in Kunming presented prizes and souvenirs to the winners.
At the event, Myanmar Consul-General in Kunming U Thwin Htet Lin and Yunnan Minzu University Vice-President Mr Xiao Weicheng delivered opening remarks and exchanged souvenirs. — ASH/MKKS
