Cash aid and health care awareness provided to flood victims in Aunglan Township

Authorities met with those who rescued from flooded areas in Aunglan Township, Magway Region and provided cash aid and health care awareness on 16 August.
A total of 134 people including 57 males and 77 females from 37 households in Thayattaw Ward in the town of Aunglan were removed to a temporary rescue camp at Lalepyin Monastery in Magyigone Ward. During the visit, the Deputy Township Administrator was accompanied by officials from the Township Department of Public Health and Medical Services, the District Department of Disaster Management and the Fire Services Department.
The Department of Disaster Management provided K 670,000 to 134 individuals at a rate of K 5,000 per person. Then, an official from the Township Department of Public Health and Medical Services shared health care awareness information, focusing on the risks of communicable diseases and the importance of personal hygiene.
