Civil Servants and Their Families Returning to Tonzan Provided with Food Items

A ceremony to provide food supplies to civil servants and their families who have returned to Tonzan Township, Chin State, where rehabilitation efforts are underway, was held at the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Department at 1 p.m. on August 19.

At the ceremony, U Thein Aung, Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee, delivered a speech and provided 19 tons of food supplies to 389 civil servants from 35 township-level departments, as well as 300 residents from two wards.

The food supplies were donated by various regions and states across Myanmar for civil servants, their families and residents who have returned to Tonzan to participate in rehabilitation efforts, according to the Township General Administration Department.—Township IPRD
