Eastern Hlaingtharyar Township Conducts Fieldwork to Prevent Severe Diarrhea

Hlaingtharyar (East), August 18

Under the supervision of the Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee, a fieldwork activity was conducted in Nyan Chaung Village, Kasin Village Tract in Hlaingtharya Township (East), Insein District, Yagon Region yesterday morning to prevent severe diarrhea.

During the fieldwork, Dr. Win Myat Thu, Head of the Township Public Health Department, health workers, departmental officials, firefighters, Red Cross members and community leaders jointly carried out public awareness activities, vaccination, pesticide spraying, and measures to ensure the safety of drinking-water containers, including covering, emptying, replacing and filtering water.—Hanny (IPRD)
