Emerald Green Project Fund Disbursed in Kamma Township

Kamma, August 21

The Rural Development Department of Kamma Township, Magway Region disbursed the third round of Emerald Green Project funds to residents of Kaing Daung Village this morning.

U Min Ko Naing, head of the Township Rural Development Department, said the funds aim to reduce poverty and support rural residents in agricultural and livestock activities. A project officer also explained the loan procedures, rules and conditions under the Project Manual before the funds were distributed to village project committee members.

A total of K23.5 million was provided to 79 project members, including K18.2 million for agriculture, K3.15 million for livestock, K1.25 million for manufacturing and K900,000 for small-scale industries.—Naw Lu
