Emerald green projects in Sakhangyi village, Thayet Township observed

            With the aim of creating opportunities for rural residents to operate micro enterprises and to access low-interest business funds, the Township Department of Rural Development is providing necessary support for the implementation of emerald green projects in Sakhangyi village, Innmange village-tract in Thayet Township, Magway Region. On 25 August, the officials from the Township Department inspected the projects activities in the village.

            The officials from the District Department and responsible people examined the project implementation status and checked whether the required monthly financial report forms were complete. They then discussed essential requirements with the members of the project.

            In the village, a total of K 45.8 million has been disbursed to 95 members including K 31.25 million to 54 people for agricultural businesses, K 11.75 million to 36 people for livestock businesses and K 2.8 million to five people for trading businesses.
