Medicines, Drinking Water and Food Donated to Flood Victims in Laymyethna Township

The Ayeyarwady Region Hluttaw Speaker, Vice Speaker and representatives, divided into four groups, visited temporary relief camps in Laymyethna Township on August 11 to provide assistance to flood victims.

The officials visited camps at Htuparyon and Charngyi pagodas, Khamauk Su Group Athawkayama Monastery, Phoe Tha Nyoyoe Village and Ko Na Win Monastery. They donated medicines, drinking water and food items and met with residents to offer encouragement.

The assistance was provided to help meet the basic food and healthcare needs of people affected by the floods.—Region IPRD
