Myanmar U15 squad named for FIFA festival
THE Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) has announced a preliminary squad of 32 players for the Myanmar U15 youth team, which will compete at the FIFA U15 World Cup and Festival in Azerbaijan from 22 to 31 October.
The preliminary squad includes promising young players selected through open trials held in Yangon and Mandalay, as well as outstanding players from the Taunggyi, Mandalay, Mawlamyine and Yangon zones of the FIFA/MFF U15 League 2026.
Players from Nay Pyi Taw RTC, along with standout performers from the MFF Academy Selection Team (YGN) and MFF Academy Selection Team (MDY), have also been included in the preliminary squad.
The 32 selected players must report to the MFF by 3 September to join the training camp for the trip to Azerbaijan. Their performances and fitness will be assessed during the camp before the final squad for the tournament is selected and announced. — TWA/KZL
