Over 45,000 acres of monsoon paddy in Paukkhaung Township successfully cultivated

            It is estimated a total of 46,757 acres of monsoon paddy will be cultivated in Paukkhaung Township, Bago Region this year. Of these, 45,251 acres have been successfully cultivated.

            Furthermore, other crops including monsoon peanut, corn, mung bean, pigeon pea, cotton, sunflower and chili have also been partially cultivated. The Township Agricultural Department is providing necessary technical support and good agricultural practices to help farmers exceed the monsoon paddy cultivation target.
