Sepak Takraw group matches continue in Nay Pyi Taw
THE group-stage matches of the men’s and women’s quadrant team events at the 2026 Inter-Region/ State Sepak Takraw Championship continued at the Gymnasium (A) of Wunna Theikdhi Sports Complex in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
In the men’s event, the Kachin, Yangon, Bago, Shan, Mon, Rakhine, Mandalay and Sagaing teams recorded victories, while the Bago, Ayeyawady, Mon, Kayah, Shan and Yangon teams won their respective women’s group-stage matches.
The final group-stage matches and the quarterfinals of the men’s and women’s quadrant team events will be held on 31 August. Sports fans can attend the matches free of charge. — MNA/KZL
