Youth Affairs Committees Meet with Red Cross

THE Myanmar Central Youth Affairs Committee and the Yangon Region Youth Af­fairs Committee met with representatives from the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) yesterday morning at the Yangon Region Gov­ernment Office.

During the meeting, opening remarks were de­livered by Union Minister for Youth Affairs Dr Maung Thin, who is also First Vice-Chairman of the Cen­tral Committee and, along­side Chief Minister of Yan­gon Region U Aung Naing Thu, who is Chairman of the Yangon Region Youth Affairs Committee.

Following the opening addresses, Professor Dr Myo Nyunt, President of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, Deputy General Secretary Daw Aye Aye Nyein, Assis­tant General Secretary Daw Ei Ei Htwe, and attendees presented updates on their ongoing operations and ini­tiatives.
