57 Firms Give K400M+ to Laymyethna Flood Victims

ALTOGETHER, 57 companies from 22 countries in­vesting in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone donated K431.51 million to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for flood victims affected by the breach of the Ngawun River embankment in Laymyethna Township, Ayeyawady Region.

Union Minister Dr Soe Win accepted the donation at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, expressed his gratitude, and presented a certificate of honour to the donors in return. — MNA/YHT
