MLF to offer Hands On Dairy & Meat Processing Training 2026 in Nov
THE Myanmar Livestock Federation will conduct the Hands On Dairy and Meat Processing Training 2026 in November.
The federation has been working to develop the livestock sector, ensure food security and safety, and promote value added livestock production in cooperation with domestic and international organizations.
The federation, in partnership with Thailand’s Department of Livestock Development (DLD), offers two annual courses: Value Added Dairy Processing and Value Added Meat Processing – at the Livestock Product Research and Development Centre (LPRDC DLD) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This year’s courses will run concurrently from 15 to 21 November, covering theoretical and practical approaches. The curriculum is updated annually with new product lines developed and marketed by LPRDC, and trainers also accommodate specific product requests from participants.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit recreational spots around Chiang Mai outside training hours with assistance from course leaders.
Participants must share expenses covering the Yangon-Chiang Mai-Yangon airfare, course fees, and raw materials used in training.
As this is a customized course organized exclusively for Myanmar, a minimum of 10 participants is required per course to proceed. Course content and estimated costs will be announced later. MLF and LPRDC – DLD will arrange a discounted rate below the standard fee.
Participants must hold a passport with at least six months’ validity remaining as of 21 November.
The training is designated for those seeking to add value to livestock products, expand markets, or launch new ventures. Interested individuals can enquire about details through the Myanmar Livestock Federation office at 09 752278795 (phone/Viber) or email myanmarlivestock@gmail.com. — NN/KK
