Taunggyi holds public awareness talk in Hamsi Model Village

THE Department of Rural Development, in coop­eration with relevant township-level departments, staged a public awareness talk at Hamsi Model Village in Taunggyi Township, Shan State (South), yesterday.

Taunggyi District Department of Rural Devel­opment Head U Nyunt Win explained measures to reduce smoke and haze, dispose of waste systemat­ically, and prevent communicable diseases arising from environmental and indoor air pollution, along with preventive measures.
