Hot-air balloon season kicks off, starting from 15 Oct
BALLOONS flying over Bagan ancient
cultural zone in Mandalay Region’s NyaungU Township will be resumed starting
from 15 October, according to the Balloons Over Bagan and STT Balloon
officials.
Balloon rides can offer an astonished
view of Bagan’s ancient temples and beautiful landscapes and this year’s
balloon season is going to kick off for local and foreign tourists.
Balloon rides provided by the Balloons
Over Bagan will be available starting from 15 October while STT Balloon will
offer the service in November first week. Fee for a person is US$165 (K643,500)
and a balloon can carry 16 persons, according to the Ballons Over Bagan.
Riding balloon over Bagan can give a
perspective of incredible archaeological landscapes- ancient buildings,
florae, the Ayeyawady River, Natthamee riverbank and Kondawgyi Temple and Tuyin
